On the Third working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 251 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 271 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” increased by 26 points to 5,222 points after DSE trading started on Tuesday, January 21, till 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index increased by 8 points, while the “DSE-30” index increased by 10 points with 1179 and 1933, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 251 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
271 of the traded companies experienced growth, 70 experienced declines, and 66 experienced no change.
