Goalabazar and Biswanath Branch of Standard Bank PLC. are Now at New Address

With an aim to provide advanced and modern services to the customers, Biswanath SME/Agri Branch and Goalabazar SME/Agri Branch of Shari`ah based Standard Bank PLC. have started their operation at new address. Mohammed Abdul Aziz, honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank inaugurated the branches’ operation at new locations as the chief guest in the ceremony organized at the premises of both branches on 19 January 2025. Gulzar Ahmed, honorable Director & Former Vice Chairman of Bank attended the programs as Special Guest. Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO presided over both the ceremony. Among others, Regional Manager of Sylhet Abu Rahad Khondakar, Additional Police Super of Osmai Nagar Circle, Sylhet Ashrafuzzaman, PPM; Head of SBPLC. Biswanath Branch Kamal Ahmed, Head of Goalabazar Branch Sadananda Debnath; DR. Mahmudul Mozid Chowdhury; Director of local Learning Center Moin Uddin; General Secretary of Biswanath Byabsayee Samity Joynal Uddin; eminent Businessmen Shahnur Hossain & Alauddin Ripon; Emigrant of United Kingdom Abdul Salam Sheikh; local industrialists, businessmen, customers and dignitaries were present in the event. Mentionable that Standard Bank Biswanath SME/Agri Branch has started it’s operation at Tanni Complex (2nd Floor), Jagannathpur Road, Bishnath and Goalabazar SME/Agri Branch at Kaher Mansion Shopping Complex (1st & 2nd Floor), 1174, Osmani Nagar, Sylhet.
