The rate of implementation of the Annual Development Program (ADP) in the current financial year (2024-25) has decreased as compared to the previous financial year. The ADP implementation rate in the first six months (July-December) of the current fiscal year stood at 17.97 percent. The implementation rate was 22.48 percent during the same period of the last fiscal year 2023-24.
This information has been revealed in the latest progress report of the Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Department (IMED) of the Ministry of Planning. This is the first time in the last five years that the ADP implementation rate has decreased.
The total allocation for the current fiscal year is 2 lakh 78 thousand 288 crore 90 lakh taka. However, only 50 thousand 2 crores of rupees have been spent. As a result, the expenditure target in the next six months is Tk 2 lakh 28 thousand 286 crores.
