On the second working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading negatively. In just two hours on this day, 158 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 141 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” down by 8 points to 5,148 points after DSE trading started on Monday, January 13, at 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 1 points, while the “DSE-30” index rose by 1 points with 1156 and 1905, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 158 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
141 of the traded companies experienced growth, 172 experienced declines, and 73 experienced no change.
