An extension of time has been granted to Power Grid Company of Bangladesh, a capital market-listed energy and power sector company, to release its audited financial report for the fiscal year that concluded on June 30, 2024. The capital market regulator Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has granted the company until January 31 after receiving its application.

Sources claim that the business had previously announced that the board of directors meeting would take place on January 16. The audited financial report for the fiscal year that concluded on June 30, 2024, will be examined during that meeting. The report will be published by the company upon board approval. The board members will decide whether to declare a dividend for the shareholders at the same meeting.

The board meeting to be held on January 16 will also discuss the unaudited financial report of the first quarter ended on September 30, 2024. If the board approves the report, the company will publish it.
