Transactions of National Bank will be closed for five days

Bangladesh Bank has announced that National Bank transactions will be closed for five days. National Bank will be closed from December 31 to January 4 to update the core banking software.

Bangladesh Bank recently announced this information in a notification. It said that all banking activities of National Bank will be closed for five days.

Earlier, Bangladesh Bank had announced that Dutch-Bangla Bank transactions will be closed for five days. The bank’s activities will be temporarily closed from January 1 to 5 to ensure smooth migration to the new core banking software of Dutch-Bangla Bank.

Agent banking services of Dutch-Bangla Bank will be temporarily closed from December 30 to January 5. During this period, the bank’s customers will not receive any services from the bank’s branches and ATM booths. However, credit card and mobile banking service Rocket transactions will continue during this period.
