On the first working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading at a low rate. The main index fell by 14 points in the first two hours of the day’s trading.
According to sources, on Sunday (November 10) two hours after the start of trading of DSE till 12 noon, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ is down 14.56 points to 5 thousand 301 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ has decreased by 2.68 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 6.33 points at 1185 and 1959 points respectively.
A total of 214 crore 67 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.
Among the traded companies, the share prices of 114 companies increased, 198 companies decreased and 76 companies remained unchanged.
