The board of directors of Rahim Textiles, a listed textile company, has approved a proposal to expand its knit dyeing and washing units by installing new machinery. The company will invest about 24 crore 76 lakhs in this.
According to sources, the new unit will be set up at the existing factory of the company located in Safipur area of Gazipur Kaliakore. By installing new machineries, 33 lakh 2400 kg will be added to the annual capacity of knit dyeing and 1 crore 12 lakh 50 thousand pieces will be added to the washing unit.
By installing new machineries the company will be able to sell its products at a higher price. So that both the sales and profits of the company will increase along with maintaining good margins.
The proposed new machinery will be installed by borrowing from banks and other sources and financing from internal funds.
