Social Islami Bank Kicks Off “Building a Stronger Tomorrow” Campaign.

Social Islami Bank launched its campaign, “Building a Stronger Tomorrow,” at its head office on 31 October 2024, unveiling the new motto: “Resilience, Recovery, and Rejuvenate.” This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to strengthening its financial foundation. Chairman of the Bank Professor Dr. M. Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, was present as chief guest and inaugurated the campaign.  Vice Chairman Maksuda Begum, and Directors Md. Morshed Alam Khondoker, and Md. Anwar Hossain, FCA, were present at the launching event. Managing Director (Acting) Mohammad Forkanullah presided over the program. Deputy Managing Directors Abdul Hannan Khan and Md. Nazmus Saadat, Zonal Head of Dhaka Zone, Divisional Heads, senior executives and branch managers of Dhaka Zone were also present on the occasion.

Professor Dr. M. Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, Chairman of Social Islami Bank, proudly shared that the bank has already recovered Tk. 1,075 crore, with hopes to recover an additional Tk. 5,000 crore in the next two months. With this momentum, the bank is set for a full rejuvenation with deposit procurement, ensuring uninterrupted and enhanced services for all clients. He further emphasized the bank’s commitment to Shariah compliance alongside the campaign’s core objectives.

Maksuda Begum, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Bank’s Executive Committee, mentioned that deposit is the lifeblood of the bank, and also highlighted the campaign’s strong focus on both recovery and deposit mobilization.
