On the first working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in a downward trend.
The share price of 286 companies fell in the first hour and a half of the day’s trading. Along with this, the main index of DSE decreased by more than 78 points during this period. According to sources, one and a half hours after the start of DSE trading on Sunday (October 27) till 11:30 am, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ is down by 78.35 points to 5 thousand 35 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ has decreased by 19.52 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 24.84 points at 1124 and 1854 points respectively. A total of 96 crore 62 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period. Among the traded companies, the share prices of 64 companies increased, 286 companies decreased and 33 companies remained unchanged.
