Social Islami Bank arranged a view-exchange meeting with the members of Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) at the bank’s head office on 21 October 2024 in order to facilitate all banking services for the Hajj & Umrah performers. Maksuda Begum, Vice Chairman of the Bank, was present as chief guest at the meeting. Md. Morshed Alam Khondoker & Md. Anwar Hossain, FCA, Directors of the bank, were present as special guests. Mohammad Forkanullah, Managing Director (Acting), presided over the event. Abdul Hannan Khan, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nazmus Saadat, Head of Managing Director’s Secretariat & Head of Investment Wing, senior officials of Head Office along with the owners of hajj agencies were also present at the meeting.
Maksuda Begum, Vice Chairman of the Bank, stated that Hajj management has become significantly more organized than before. She hoped that the bank and HAAB will collaborate closely to provide comprehensive support to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
