Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC (CSE) has declared dividend for the financial year ended on June 30, 2024. CSE will pay 5 percent cash dividend to shareholders for the year under review.

The decision regarding the dividend was taken after reviewing and approving the audited financial report of the last financial year at the board meeting of the exchange held on Monday (October 21). This information is known from CSE sources.

According to sources, the exchange has earned 50 paisa per share in the last year. The previous year’s earnings per share was 54 paisa.

Last year the cash flow per share of CSE was 2.90 paisa. Previous year cash flow was 2 taka 40 paisa.

As on June 30, 2024, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) was Tk. 12.1 paisa.

The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held at CSE Tower, Agrabad, Chittagong on Thursday, December 12, at 4 pm to approve the declared dividend. The record date for this has been fixed on November 13.
