5 days off on Eid-ul-Fitr, 6 days on Eid-ul-Azha and two days off on Durga Puja.

The Advisory Council of the Interim Government has approved the list of public holidays for next year (2025). It will include six days of public holidays for next year’s holy Eid-ul-Azha and five days for Eid-ul-Fitr. Apart from this, two days of autumn Durga Puja holiday have been made.

Among them, two days off on Eid. And the rest of the days before and after Eid will be holiday by executive order. Vijay Dashami is a general holiday on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja. Before that, there will be a holiday on Navami by executive order.

On Thursday (October 17) in Tejgaon, the meeting of the advisory council was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser. This information is known by citing sources.

Currently Eid holiday is three days. But it was extended by executive order for a few years. Apart from this, the present government extended the holiday by one day on the occasion of Puja this year.

In such a situation, the Ministry of Public Administration proposed to extend the leave. It is approved by the Advisory Council.
