Finance and Trade Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed said that 400 million US dollars will be available from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as budget support in the current fiscal year 2024-25. The government expects to get this money by next December.
At that time, Salehuddin Ahmed said that all the three parties (ADB, JICA and Australia) have taken a positive attitude towards providing funds. Budgetary support will be available from ADB. Hopefully, 400 million dollars or 400 million dollars will be received from the company within the month of December. Apart from this, we have asked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a new budget of 3 billion dollars under the loan agreement of 4.7 billion dollars.
Apart from this ADB has many projects. ADB decided to continue with them. At the same time, they have been told to cooperate more in the future. The organization is told what we will do in the future. There too they have assured necessary assistance.
Salehuddin Ahmed said, all those who came are our development partners. We talked to everyone. They have been asked to intensify the ongoing assistance.
