Election after the country’s reorganization: Dr. Yunus

The interim government wants to organize free, fair and participatory elections. However, the chief adviser of the government said that after the reorganization of various organizations including the country’s law, the election will be arranged. Yunus.
The head of the interim government briefed foreign diplomats at a hotel in the capital on Sunday (August 18). Later, press secretary of Chief Adviser Shafiqul Alam gave this information by briefing the journalists.

Nowhere in the world have citizens been so deprived of human rights.

The UN will investigate the killings centered around the anti-discrimination movement of students. The interim head of government welcomed it and said, “We want what has been done with the students to be accepted and there will be an investigation without resorting to bias.” In this regard, the Bangladesh government will give full support to the United Nations.

The press secretary of the Chief Adviser said that more than 50 diplomats from India, the United States and the United Nations and various organizations were present in the briefing. Journalists want to know whether diplomats have asked any questions. In response, the press secretary said, the question was not answered. He asked for support. He asked for full support in rebuilding Bangladesh.

Dr. Yunus said that the students will try to do what Bangladesh wants. A Bangladesh where there will be democratic system, freedom of speech, human rights. At the same time, he highlighted the issue of providing security to minorities.

The press secretary said that the chief adviser said that as many international agreements as Bangladesh has made, as many legal obligations as it has will be fulfilled. On the Rohingya issue, the United Nations, global agencies and partners have been requested to continue providing financial support to the Rohingya. In the economic field, they are now emphasizing on ensuring macroeconomic stability.
