In consideration of these, I have decided not to accept the responsibility as the chairman of BSEC. Earlier on Tuesday (August 13), Masroor Riaz was appointed as the chairman of BSEC by the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance. But his joining BSEC was stalled due to allegations against him.
