Shares of 398 companies were traded in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main stock market of the country, during the last week (August 11-15). Among these, Grameenphone Limited has come to the top of the transaction.
During the week, the company’s shares traded on an average of Tk 100 crore 37 lakh 60 thousand per day. Which was 7.83 percent of the total transactions of DSE.
BRAC Bank Plc is second in transactions. During the week, the bank’s shares were traded on an average of Tk 65 crore 24 lakh 20 thousand per day.
Square Pharma is in third place. During the week, the company’s shares traded on an average of Tk 33 crore 94 lakh 80 thousand per day.
Besides, among the other companies in the weekly top list in terms of daily average transactions are British American Tobacco Tk 33 crore 45 lakh 70 thousand, Robi Aziata Tk 33 crore 21 lakh 60 thousand, IFIC Bank Tk 32 crore 3 lakh 70 thousand, City Bank Tk 28 crore 45 lakh 70 thousand Thousand Taka, 22 crore 15 lakh 50 thousand Taka of Techno Drugs, 20 crore 97 lakh 10 thousand Taka of Unilever Consumer and 19 crore 50 lakh 10 thousand Taka of AB Bank PLC were traded.
