A class is spreading misinformation through social media to create chaos in the insurance sector. In the name of reforms in the insurance sector, various slanderous, baseless and objectionable information is being spread in the name of various organizations including regulatory bodies.

In this regard, Bangladesh Insurance Forum (BIF) Acting Secretary General SM Nuruzzaman said that for the past few days, some people have been seen spreading false and baseless information in the name of our leaders, which is very sad. If any harmful situation is created due to such activities, the responsibility of those who are involved in propaganda should be taken. Bangladesh Insurance Forum is a professional and government registered organization. It has no political affiliation. Chief executives of 84 life and non-life insurance companies of the country are members of this organization.

The organization was created to assist all parties in the development of the insurance sector by improving the quality of professionals. Therefore, false propaganda in the name of this organization is not acceptable in any way.
