The 82nd meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. (SJIB PLC) held on recently at the Board meeting room of Corporate Head Office of the Bank. A few Members of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee participated in this meeting through digital platform (with Video Conference). The Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shahed Rahmani presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari’ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations.
Among others the Members of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Maulana Muhammad Sadequl Islam, Dr. Mufti Yousuf Sultan, Mr. Maulana Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah, the Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the Additional Managing Director Mr. M. Akhter Hossain and the Head of Shari’ah Secretariat of the Bank Maulana Farid Uddin were also present in the meeting.
