City Desk: PSTC’s SUFASEC project (Step up the Fight against Sexual Exploitation of Children: Empowering Children and Communities) was organized at the local level to introduce and launch the project. Gazipur Assistant Commissioner Roksana Begum was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Police Officer of Gazipur Sadar Police Station Arif Hossain was present as a special guest. Gazipur Sadar Social Service Officer Mobarak Hossain, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Razzak Hossain, Upazila Women and Child Affairs Officer Shirin Akhter were also present as special guests. Also present were Gazipur City Corporation Ward Councilor Afsana Akhter and Ward Councilor Delwar Hossain Badal and local dignitaries and children.

PSTC Head of Program Dr. Mahabubul Alam presided over the event. Also Project Coordinator Rezaul Islam discussed about Sufasec project of PSTC.
SUFASEC project is mainly implementing awareness programs on child sexual exploitation (offline/online), child protection and adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights in Gazipur Sadar Upazila union based and city corporation wards to stop child sexual exploitation in communities and schools. Project Introduction and Inaugural Ceremony Through this, by involving children, adolescents and young people, ensuring child protection and protecting sexual and reproductive health rights will work tirelessly to end child sexual exploitation. The government agency will play a direct supporting role with the SUFASEC project, which is decided through the discussions.
