The Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) is gearing up for the 9th International Fire Safety and Security Expo, set to take place from February 17 to 19, 2024, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).
President of ESSAB, Niaz Ali Chishty, unveiled details of the expo at a press conference today. He highlighted the growing need for enhanced fire safety measures and modern equipment, emphasizing ESSAB’s commitment to mitigating fire risks and strengthening the nation’s fire safety infrastructure.
The three-day event will showcase the latest advancements in fire safety and security technologies from leading global brands. Over 100 prominent companies from 30 countries will participate, presenting their cutting-edge products across three categories: fire safety solutions, security solutions, and building automation.
The expo will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser, Mr. Salman F Rahman, MP. A key feature of this year’s event is the “ESSAB Safety Excellence Award,” which will recognize exemplary fire safety measures implemented in various sectors. Additionally, ESSAB will honor the families of firefighters for their courageous contributions.
The 9th International Fire Safety and Security Expo 2024 is co-partnered by several esteemed organizations, including the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense, various industry associations, city corporations, and government ministries. The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has also extended its full support.
