BM Desk: Performing their holy Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 4,480 Hajjis left for their homes on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs reports that 4,19 pilgrims of the returnees underwent government-supervised Hajj, while 3,989 underwent private supervision. As of Tuesday, 22 pilgrims from Bangladesh had lost their lives while performing the Hajj.
419 pilgrims were transported on Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ inaugural return trip. On the other side, 2,432 Hajjis returned on six Flynas aircraft, while 1,557 returned on four Saudi Airlines planes.
