On the second working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in a negative trend. The share price of 233 companies fell within the first hour and a half of trading on this day.
According to sources, on Monday (October 21), one and a half hours after the start of DSE trading, i.e. till 11:30 am, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ is down by 22.22 points at 5 thousand 138 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ has decreased by 3.12 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 8.72 points at 1152 and 1887 points respectively.
A total of 135 crore 90 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.
Among the traded companies, the share price of 99 companies increased, 233 companies decreased and 57 companies remained unchanged.
