On the 2nd working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 232 crore of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 284 companies increased.
According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 45 points to 5 thousand 223 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Tuesday (December 17).
Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 15.94 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 18. Points to stands at 1167 and 1926 points respectively.
A total of Tk 232 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 284 companies rose, 65 fell and 66 remained unchanged.
