1st BKSP cup serves up international volleyball action

Volleyball enthusiasts in Dhaka were treated to the start of the exciting 1st BKSP Cup Invitational International Volleyball Tournament on Wednesday. The inaugural ceremony, held at the BKSP Gymnasium at 5 pm, marked the commencement of this highly anticipated event.

Syed Md Motaher Hossain, NDC, PSC, Director General of BKSP, officially inaugurated the tournament.  Mr. Ashiqur Rahman Miku, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, graced the occasion as a special guest. 

The opening match, featuring BKSP Lal and the Police Club team from Maldives, was already underway at the time this report was filed.  The tournament promises thrilling competition, with international teams participating alongside local contenders.  In addition to two teams from BKSP, the participating teams include the Police Club of Maldives and the Rural Municipality Volleyball Team of Nepal.

The 1st BKSP Cup will continue until April 29th, culminating in the highly anticipated final match.  Volleyball fans can expect a week of exhilarating competition showcasing the talent and skills of international and local volleyball players.

BKSP Public Relations Officer Ashrafuzzaman confirmed the details of the tournament. This international volleyball event presents a fantastic opportunity for fans to witness high-caliber matches and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.
