177 crore of transactions in two hours

On the 3rd working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 177 crore of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 174 companies increased.

According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 2 points to 5 thousand 225 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Wednesday (December 18).

Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 2.18 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 6. Points to stands at 1169 and 1935 points respectively.

A total of Tk 177 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 174 companies rose, 131 fell and 96 remained unchanged.
