151 crores traded in two and a half hours.

On the last working day of the week, the country’s main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) is trading with a mixed reaction to the index. The main index fell by 25 points in the first two and a half hours of trading on this day.

According to sources, two hours after the start of trading on Thursday (October 17) i.e. till 12 noon, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ is down by 25.12 points at 5 thousand 291 points.

Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ has increased by 29 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has increased by 88 points and stands at 1183 and 1948 points respectively.

A total of 151 crore 24 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.

Among the traded companies, the share price of 76 companies increased, 270 companies decreased and 60 companies remained unchanged.
