B Mirror Desk: Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus arrived at Shah Amanat International Airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 9:22 AM today. He was welcomed by government officials from both divisional and district levels.
Earlier this morning, the Chief Adviser commenced his visit to his home district of Chattogram for the first time since assuming office, with a series of engagements scheduled during his approximately 12-hour visit. Professor Yunus departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:45 AM, as reported by Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder to UNB.
He is set to be the chief guest at the fifth convocation of Chittagong University (CU), where he will deliver the convocation address, according to officials. Accompanying the Chief Adviser are Liberation War Affairs Adviser Farooq-e-Azam, Energy Adviser Dr. Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Education Adviser CR Abrar, Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum, Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter, SDGs Affairs Principal Coordinator Lamiya Morshed, and Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.
