Abul, a pineapple seller under Khilgaon flyover had a meal daily during last four days with his three daughters and wife at Shajahanpur at a slum like resident.
“We had live our life by earning everyday. My wife Sahera had a work at a near residence but they stopped working her asking stay home,” I had no money. I got some rice and dal from a police van by which I had a meal yesterday, Abul told Business Mirror.
Like abul around 10 lakh street hawkers in Dhaka many of them left to village home are at peril to feed their children.
The government package are not reaching to them.
Vendors including mobile vendors, essential vendors and non essential vendors all had to left road for Corona virus pandemic. While the mobile vendors are the one constantly on the move selling fancy products or edibles on the go, essential vendors include tea stalls, bicycle repairman or cobblers.
