The play, titled ‘Unnoyoner Jonno Natok: Siddhanto,’ is currently being staged at various locations in the capital. The storyline revolves around a miscreant and his impact on the lives of those around him. The narrative unveils a conspiracy utilizing modern communication technology and lethal weapons to create instability at the national and international levels.
Organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, the play is part of the ‘Play for Development: Siddhant’ initiative, running for eight days from November 18, 2023. The inaugural performance took place at the National Theater premises on November 18, with the Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Liaquat Ali Lucky, inaugurating the play. The initiative aims to promote awareness and mass awakening through cultural practices and its inherent message.
Ahsan Khan, the playwright and director, along with Assistant Director Naved Rahman, crafted the play. It features performances by the Dhaka University Drama Society, with Ali Ahmed Mukul serving as the coordinator of the drama production.
The theatrical production ‘Unnoyoner Jonno Natok: Siddhanto’ is scheduled to run until Saturday, November 25, 2023, at various venues across the capital.
