The Bangladesh government will bestow the prestigious “President’s Award for Industrial Development” upon twenty industrial units in recognition of their significant contributions to industrialization, employment generation, and overall economic development.
These awards will be presented in six categories, namely large, medium, small, cottage, micro, and hi-tech industries, to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of these enterprises across a broad spectrum of industrial sectors.
Echotex Ltd, Pran Dairy Limited, and Mir Akhter Hossain Limited have been jointly selected as the top performers in the large industries category, demonstrating their exceptional contributions to the country’s industrial landscape. Square Food & Beverage Limited has secured the second position, while Snowtex Outerwear Ltd and Square Toiletries Ltd share the third position in this category.
In the medium industries category, Bengal Poly & Paper Sack Ltd has emerged as the frontrunner, showcasing its remarkable contributions to industrial growth and development. Basumati Distribution Ltd and APS Apparels Ltd have been recognized with the second and third positions, respectively, for their commendable efforts in this sector.
The small industry category has seen The Reliance Builder and Concord Entertainment Co Ltd jointly securing the top position, highlighting their exemplary contributions to industrial growth and employment generation. Rangpur Foundry Ltd has been awarded the second position, while Gunze United Ltd has been recognized with the third position for their outstanding performance in this category.
Fariha Green Mood Leathers Ltd has emerged as the top performer in the micro industry category, demonstrating its exceptional contributions to industrialization and economic development. ABM Water Company has been awarded the second position, while Deeplaid Laboratories Ltd has secured the third position for their notable achievements in this sector.
The cottage industry category has witnessed Blue-Star Agro Product and Industry taking the top spot, showcasing its significant contributions to rural industrialization and employment generation. Pretty Beauty Parlour has been recognized with the second position, while Lehaz Salma Jubo Mahila Kallyan Sangstha (LSYWWO) has secured the third position for their exemplary contributions in this sector.
