Terra Partners USA is exploring to increase Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) in Bangladesh stock market. According to the company’s representative Yarden Mariama, CFA, the investment plan has been formulated by looking at the future prospects and market environment of Bangladesh.
BSEC executive director and spokesperson Mohammad Rezaul Karim signed this information in a press release.
Recently, the representative of Terra Partners USA, Yarden Mariama, had a courtesy meeting with the Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Khandkar Rashed Maksud. BSEC Commissioner Farzana Lalarukh, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of City Bank Brokerage M. Afnan Yusuf and AKM Fazle Rabi, Research and Investment Head of Citibank Brokerage.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed how Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) can be increased in Bangladesh in the future. Also, Terra Partners USA opined that Bangladesh has a good investment environment and the country’s investment future is more promising.
It should be noted that Terra Partners USA has been investing in Bangladesh for almost 20 (twenty) years.
