The ‘Taka-Rupee Card’ will be launched from next September. Bangladesh Bank will launch these two currency cards. Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rauf Talukder said this at the opening ceremony of the use of Indian rupee in bilateral trade between Bangladesh and India today.

The event was jointly organized by Bangladesh Bank and Indian High Commission at La Meridien Hotel in the capital. Indian High Commissioner Prannoy Verma, FBCCI President. Jasim Uddin and others were present in it.
