Students Take to Streets Demanding Teachers’ Pay

Lions School and College students in Saidpur demonstrated in the streets against their professors' demands. During the road barricade yesterday, Monday, at approximately 2:30 PM, hundreds of cars and people were stranded on both sides of the road, causing major inconvenience. Even though they routinely pay the institution's monthly tuition, the students claimed that their teachers are not getting paid. They warned that if the teachers' paychecks are not given right away, a more vigorous protest will be started.
