Southeast Bank Limited held a virtual discussion in remembrance of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and all the martyrs of 15th August in a befitting manner with due respect.
At the beginning of the discussion meeting, with due respect and solemnity, all the participants of the meeting stood and observed a minute of silence on the occasion of the 48th Martyrdom Anniversary of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman “National Mourning Day 2023” under the ongoing month-long different mourning programs by Southeast Bank.
Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hussain, Managing Director of Southeast Bank presided over the discussion meeting virtually. At the meeting, Deputy Managing Directors and all Divisional Heads of Head Office were present. Bank’s all the Managers of Branches and Sub Branches and In-charges of Offshore banking units were also connected in the discussion meeting virtually.
The discussion highlighted on Bangabandhu’s works and life and his vision for a poverty free Bangladesh. Various initiatives taken by the Bank to observe the National Mourning Day during the month of August were also pointed out in the discussion. The meeting concluded with prayers for seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, innocent child Sheikh Russel including all martyred family members.
