A total of share and debenture worth Tk22.25 crore of shares of 66 companies were traded in the block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday, the last working day of the week, DSE sources said.
Mercantile Bank share woth Tk 3.6 crore, BRAC Bank Tk 3.28 crore and Deshbandhu Polymer woth Tk 1.58 crore were traded in the second place.
Companies participated at the block market trading among others were Acme Pesticide, Shahjibazar Power, Alif Industries, Lafarge Holcim Bangladesh, Acme Laboratories, Beximco Pharma and Malek Spinning Mills Limited.
