In order to provide better services to the clients, the Satmasjid Road Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has started banking activities at the new address: Green City Center, 58 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Mohammed Younus, inaugurated the relocated branch on Sunday as Chief Guest. The Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the ceremony.
Among others, the manager of the Dhanmondi Branch of the Bank, F. M. Nawaz Ali, the Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation, Shamsuddoha, the Head of the Common Services Division of the Bank, Mahmudul Shamim Talukder, the manager of the Satmasjid Road Branch of the Bank, Hasib Uddin, the manager of the Kawran Bazar Branch, Iftekhar Shahid, the manager of the College Gate Branch, A. H. M. Shahrier, and well-wishers of the Bank were also present in the opening ceremony.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mohammed Younus said that Shahjalal Islami Bank has been providing services to customers since its inception. At present, we have been providing services to customers relentlessly through 140 branches, 4 sub-branches, a significant number of ATM booths, and agent banking outlets of Shahjalal Islami Bank. Shahjalal Islami Bank customers always have full confidence in this bank due to its quality of service.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, said that currently there is no liquidity crisis at Shahjalal Islami Bank; we have a large surplus of liquidity. We are interested in investing more in developing and promising sectors. The number of customers at this bank is more than 9 lakh. We have relocated this Satmasjid Road branch to a well-spaced location to cater to the needs and convenience of our customers.
On the occasion of the opening branch, Holy Quran recitation and Dua Mahfil were organized in the branch premises to wish for the prosperity of the bank.
