Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won overall in the 23rd ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Reports 2022. The bank won this recognition as the best, achieving 1st place for the third consecutive time in the Private Sector Banks category, 2nd place in the Corporate Governance Disclosures category, and 3rd place in the Integrated Report category.
On Monday, ICAB organized the ceremony for the 23rd ICAB National Award for Best Presented Annual Reports 2022 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital. The Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, received the award from the Chief Guest of the program, Tipu Munshi, Commerce Minister.
The Additional Managing Director and CBO of the Bank, Abdul Aziz, and the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, Jafar Sadeq, were also present on the stage while receiving the award.
Among others, the Minister of State, Ministry of Planning Dr. Shamsul Alam, the Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council Professor Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, the President of ICAB Moniruzzaman, the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Imtiaz U Ahmed, Saiful Islam, and Mustafa Husain, the Head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation of the Bank Shamsuddoha (Shimu), and the Company Secretary of the Bank Abul Bashar were also present in the award program.
