Robi Axiata PLC. has been recognized with the SILVER award in Telecommunication category at the 14th ICMAB Best Corporate Award Competition. This prestigious award competition was organized by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
The award ceremony took place on 14th November at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka. This coveted corporate award yet again attests Robi’s continued strides in performance and excellence in corporate governance practices.
Chief Guest of the award ceremony, Hon’ble Adviser to the Ministry of Finance, Commerce, Science & Technology, Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed handed over the award trophy to Robi’s CFO, M. Riyaaz Rasheed. Robi’s Senior Director, Finance, Sanjib Kumar Ghosh and General Manager, Strategic Communications, Niaz Mohammad Siddiqui were on stage to receive the award as well.
Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Commerce, Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Md.Selim Uddin, and Secretary, Internal Resources Division (IRD) and Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR), Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA were present on the occasion as the special guests.
President ICMAB, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed FCMA, Secretary ICMAB, S.M. Zahir Uddin Haider FCMA, and Chairman, Corporate Award Committee, ICMAB, Arif Khan FCMA were also present at the stage to handover the award trophy.
