Padma Bank Limited signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank for the disbursement of loans under the refinancing and pre-finance schemes of Tk 25,000 crore to the Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Sector (CMSME) of the country.
The participation agreement signing ceremony was held at the Bangladesh Bank office on Monday, said a press release on Tuesday.
Managing Director (Current Charge) of Padma Bank Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury and Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Mohammad Kabir Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Director of Bangladesh Bank Mohammad Ashiqur Rahman, SEVP Sabbir Mohammad Sayem and Head of SME and Agriculture Banking Division Md Riazul Islam of Padma Bank, and senior officials of the two organizations were present at the signing ceremony.
