Ali Akhtar Hossain, the newly appointed Chief Engineer of LGED, paid tribute by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Road 32 at Dhanmondi in the city on Saturday.

LGED’s additional chief engineer, supervising engineer, project director, executive engineer, and other officials and employees of all levels were present.

Later, a prayer was conducted asking for the forgiveness of Bangabandhu’s soul.
