With the participation of aspiring young entrepreneurs across Bangladesh, the National Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2023 was held on Friday. In association with the Society for Bangladesh Agricultural Extension Network (BAEN), the Agreen Foundation organized the event at the KIB Auditorium in Dhaka.
Ruhul Amin Talukder, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, inaugurated the day-long summit, while Manik Mahmud, Programme Specialist Innovation, a2i, and Executive Member, Smart Bangladesh Network, and K M Hasan Ripon, Country Director, GEN Bangladesh, were the special guests.
In the inaugural speech, Ruhul Amin Talukder said, “This type of initiative can be an example of empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and making them game-changers.”
A total of 20 experts in various fields, such as seasoned entrepreneurs, industry high-ups, and influencers, provided practical insights on agriculture, e-commerce, and real estate sectors focused on SME, team building and networking, environmental sustainability, agricultural mechanization, business and funding opportunities, sales challenges, and emotional intelligence at the summit.
Selected members and students from entrepreneurship, business, and career clubs of 16 public, private, and national universities who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs in various sectors participated in it. BDDL was the title sponsor, and Smart Village Society and Adi Enterprise Limited were platinum sponsors. Ra’dia Inc. was the outreach partner for the full initiative.
