A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Geology of the University of Dhaka (DU) and the Bangladesh Petrolium Institute (BPI) was signed on Sunday at the Ministry of Energy to enhance collaborations and joint research activities.
DU treasurer Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and BPI Director General Khenchan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
State Minister of Energy Nasrul Hamid Bipu, Energy Secretary Nurul Alam, Chairman of the Department of Science of Dhaka University Prof. Subrata Kumar Saha, Professor Kazi Matin Uddin Ahmed, Professor Aziz Hasan, Professor Anwar Hossain Bhuiyan, and Mostafizur Rahman were present.
