On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 158 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 157 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” increased by 5 points to 5,138 points after DSE trading started on Sunday, January 19, at 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 1 points, while the “DSE-30” index down by 3 points with 1159 and 1891, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 158 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
157 of the traded companies experienced growth, 129 experienced declines, and 106 experienced no change.
