Mercantile Bank’s Sakhipur Branch relocates, promises enhanced services

In a ceremony aimed at bolstering its presence and service offerings in the region, Mercantile Bank PLC. officially inaugurated the relocation of its Sakhipur Branch on Sunday.

Distinguished guests, including Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), Chairman, Executive Committee, graced the virtual launch event held at the Bank’s Head Office. Akram Hossain (Humayun) remarked on the significance of the move, underscoring the Bank’s commitment to providing “latest and developed banking services in a spacious arrangement”.

Joining the celebrations virtually, Bank’s Managing Director & CEO Quamrul Islam Chowdhury symbolically cut the ribbon, declaring the new Sakhipur Branch open for business. He elaborated on the Bank’s vision for the region, emphasizing their dedication to offering unparalleled customer experiences.

Witnessing the momentous occasion at the Head Office, senior executives like Mati Ul Hasan (AMD), Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed, Hasne Alam, and Mahmood Alam Chowdhury (DMDs), Tapash Chandra Paul PhD (CFO), Asim Kumar Saha, Shah Sohel Khurshid (SEVPs), and Abu Asghar G. Haruni (Company Secretary & Head of HR) lent their support.

The new Sakhipur Branch, located at Holding No. – N A 133, Kachua Road, Sakhipur Bazar, Ward No.-03, Pourasava-Sakhipur, Thana-Sakhipur, Zila-Tangail, welcomed Golam Kibria (SVP & Head of MIS Division), Omar Faruk Saikat (distinguished businessman), Abdur Rauf Mia (Principal of Sakhipur Residential Women College), and Shah Mijanur Rahman (FVP & Head of Sakhipur Branch) alongside invited guests, valued customers, and Bank executives.

The relocation marks a significant step for Mercantile Bank in catering to the growing needs of the Sakhipur community. With its spacious ambience and enhanced service offerings, the new branch promises a superior banking experience for all.
