Mercantile Bank organizes Risk Conference in 2023

Mercantile Bank PLC organized ‘Risk Conference 2023’ on Saturday. The Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Nurul Amin, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Anwarul Haq, Vice Chairman of MBPLC and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, spoke at the conference as a guest of honor.

Zabdul Islam, Director (DOS), Bangladesh Bank; A. S. M. Feroz Alam, Vice Chairman; M. A. Khan Belal, Chairman, Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd.; Abdul Awal, Director; and Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Mercantile Bank, delivered speeches as special guests. Mati Ul Hasan, AMD and CRO of the bank, presided over the program. Arif Hasan and Mahmuda Haque, Joint Director (DOS) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session as resource persons.

Zakir Hossain, Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed, Hasne Alam, and Mahmood Alam Chowdhury, DMDs; Tapash Chandra Paul, PhD, CFO of the bank; Ashim Kumar Saha, Shah Sohel Khurshid, and Iqbal Rezwan, SEVPs; Abu Asghar G. Haruni, Company Secretary and Head of HR; Javed Tariq, Principal of MBTI; and Nasim Alam, DCRO (acting), participated in the conference.

All Heads of Divisions, Departments, Units, Regional Offices, Branches, Managers of Operations and Credit in Charge of the Branches, All In-Charges of Sub-Branches, and All Officials of the Risk Management Division of MBPLC attended the conference.
