Shibganj Mayor’s Cup T-20 cricket tournament has been inaugurated on Saturday at Shibganj Upazila Stadium ground, Shibganj Mayor Syed Monirul Islam inaugurated the game.

Upazila Awami League Education Affairs Secretary Matiur Islam, Ward No. 5 Councilor of Shibganj Municipality Azizul Islam, General Secretary of Shibganj Merchants Association, Mithu Khan and many others were present at this time.

Mayor’s Cup T20 Cricket Tournament will be held in Shivganj with participation of eight teams. Rahanpur Cricket XI and Nakkatitla Cricket XI participated in the opening ceremony.

In the opening ceremony, Shibganj Municipality Mayor Monirul Islam said that there is no alternative to sports to keep the youth healthy and drug free.
