Karmasangsthan Bank Holds Business Review Meeting in Dhaka

Karmasangsthan Bank holds a Business Review Meeting-2026 on Saturday, 31 January 2026, at the conference hall of the Department of Youth Development in Motijheel, Dhaka. The meeting was attended by regional managers, branch managers, and field officers from the Dhaka, Dhaka North, and Narayanganj regions under the Dhaka Divisional Office of the Karmasangsthan Bank.

Dr. A F M Matiur Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Karmasangsthan Bank and former Secretary present in the meeting as the Chief Guest. Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury present as special guest while Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana on chair. Among others present at the meeting were General Managers Mahmuda Yasmin, Md. Shafiqul Islam Miah, and Md. Amirul Islam, along with Deputy General Managers from various departments of the Head Office and the Deputy General Manager of the Principal Branch, Dhaka.

In his keynote guidance, the Chief Guest emphasized identifying existing gaps in the branches of the respective regions and achieving 100 percent of the set targets across all performance indicators. He stressed the importance of selecting appropriate entrepreneurs and ensuring the disbursement of quality loans, as well as improving overall performance from the current position in all indicators.

In his address, the Managing Director highlighted the need to increase loan recovery rates and ensure 100 percent achievement in loan disbursement and recovery. He also emphasized enhancing the recovery of defaulted, classified, and written-off loans to meet targets across all indicators. He advised providing loans to unemployed youth in line with the Bank’s charter, diversifying loan sectors, and strictly following and complying with all directives issued by the Head Office.

Additionally, he underscored the importance of achieving 100 percent of the targets under various programs, including Sanchita, Green Finance, and the digital loan program “Swapnochura.” He further advised making rigorous efforts during the remaining period of the current fiscal year to overcome shortfalls in all indicators.

It is noteworthy that branch managers, field officers, regional managers, representatives from the Divisional Audit Office and the Divisional Office, Dhaka, as well as Deputy General Managers from a total of 24 branches across the three regions participated in the meeting.
