The government has relaxed the maximum age limit of 39 months for candidates in all government jobs (except BCS). An instruction regarding this has been issued from the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.
The directive states that the Ministries/Departments and its Subordinate Directorates/Departments/Departments and Statutory/Autonomous/Nationalized Institutions for direct recruitment to various categories of government jobs (except BCS) could not issue recruitment circulars due to the Covid-19 situation, the age of the candidates is within the maximum age limit on March 25, 2020 in the case of applying for the posts mentioned in the circular published by those offices/institutions till June 30, 2023, those candidates will get an opportunity to apply.
A request has been made to the concerned to take necessary measures in this regard.
Earlier, due to the coronavirus, the Ministry of Public Administration had issued an order to relax the age in two stages for the government job seekers. At that time total age relaxation of 21 months is given. But this age relaxation is not applicable for BCS.
