Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organized a webinar on “Compliance of Shari’ah in Banking Operations” on virtual platform recently. Sayed Abu Asad, Director of the bank, addressed the webinar as chief guest while J Q M Habibullah, FCS, Additional Managing Director of the bank, attended as special guest.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukder, Member of Shari`ah Supervisory Committee of the bank, addressed as the key discussant. Md. Shamsuddoha, Executive Vice President of Shari’ah Secretariat, also talked on the focal points. Presided over by Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizi, Head of Rajshahi Zone, Md. Habibur Rahman, Head of Khulna Zone delivered the welcome speech. Executives and officials from Jashore, Khulna, Rajshahi and Bogura Zones attended the training.
